Ana_Last Two Months...

Family, Family and More Family!

Can't complaint the last two months have been good for the soul. We saw lots of family and few of our friends. We started in Panama for two weeks then continued to Nicaragua, back to Cali for a 10 days, continued to Ohio for 5 days for my sister's graduation and finally drove down from Ohio to Miami.

It was great to share time with both of our families. Although it went by so fast. For me was really awesome to be able to visit both Panama and Nicaragua for a month. Usually I'd only visit either Panama or Nicaragua a year and only for few days max a week. Great times! I ate all the food I love from both places sancocho(chicken soup) made by my grandma in Panama, ceviche, churrasco, patacones, chicharon, arroz con pollo, queso frito and so on. I'm just getting hungry just writing about it! Our approach this past two months was to eat everything we craved so we don't crave it our next leg. And we sure did!

Going back to America felt weird at first. Everything so clean and organize. Our first stop in US was in Houston and I felt like a little kid walking down like Wow, look it's so big and clean. People speak English and you actually make a line to buy your food. Our first stop was at starbuck's! We both were craving it pretty bad. It sound so good a cold frapuccino.

I do have to say the food messed with my stomach the first week I was in California, which I found very interesting. I guess my stomach forgot about the fake, greasy food!

Seen my sister graduate from college was on of the best highlights in America and of course visiting family and friends too! It was so great to see her walk down with her cap and gown. And yes I cried like crazy . She is my little sister and I was so proud of her. I know how hard she worked those four years and of course party too. You can't do one without the other, after all is college. It was great to meet all her roommates a long with their parents. All very nice midwest people, super friendly.

Miami was nice too. In my mom's house I felt like a queen, we had our own room and ocean view, what more can you ask for. I did get to see all my cousins and Tia Gaby too and one of my best friends Isabel. It was great to see her too. She is getting married next year, so we were able to talk some wedding stuff.

We pretty much relaxed all the time we were in the states. Can't complaint. Loved it! I miss everyone though.

Ana
