Ana_Panama

We're here in Panama and time is flying AGAIN! It seems not long ago I was counting the days to come here. And now we're leaving again. I do have to say it has been nice hanging out with mi familia. I love being spoiled, having my own bed, knowing where everything is, having a great food. I think I'll be rolling to the plane. I've had sancocho (chicken soup) like 3 times. I love it! Also we've been eating a lot of fresh fruits, so yummy. I think between Tim and mua have eaten like 4 pineapples and 2 watermelons. We literally eat it fruit 3 times a day.

We haven't done much sightseeing other than going to Boquete which is like 10 hours west from Panama City. Boquete is higher in altitude and is surrounded by beautiful valleys; they call it the town of eternal spring. They grow a lot of coffee there. My grandma used to have a house there. Not anymore. So I faintly remember the town. It was great to go back. No is full of Americans who are buying properties like crazy. So it felt at times we were back in the states. It was nice and cool compare to Panama City.

No we’re in Las Tablas hanging out with grandma. There is nothing much to do in the town other than visit family, which I’m not complaining. It’s great to see everyone. Yesterday we visited relatives I haven’t seen in a while, especially few cousins I used to play with when I was younger. Crazy! Now some of them are having babies already. I do have to say I felt grown up! Some of them younger than me even.

I love coming back to Panama. It’s good for my soul. I love it even more sharing it with Tim. =)
